Sciton DiVa®
Resurface. Restore.
Rejuvenate.
Houston's humidity doesn't help the dryness — and neither do the hormone changes that come with your 40s and 50s. The DiVa is the world's first hybrid fractional laser designed specifically for vaginal health. Unlike older CO2 lasers used by OB-GYNs across the Medical Center, it uses two wavelengths simultaneously — one to resurface the delicate lining for immediate moisture improvement, another to heat deeper layers and trigger massive collagen and elastin production. Old, thinned tissue is replaced by healthy, plump, and elastic tissue. The entire procedure takes about five minutes — women from River Oaks and Tanglewood schedule it on a lunch break and are back to their afternoon.
Sciton DiVa is one of six intimate wellness treatments at Ovation. It works standalone or as part of a combination protocol.

Most vaginal lasers use a single wavelength. DiVa's hybrid approach treats two tissue layers simultaneously — surface and deep — for complete restoration.
Resurface & Restore Moisture
The first wavelength resurfaces the delicate vaginal lining — removing thinned, atrophied tissue and stimulating new, healthy epithelial growth. This directly restores the natural lubrication mechanism.
- Restores natural moisture production
- Smooths and rejuvenates tissue surface
- Reduces dryness and irritation
- Improves comfort during intimacy
Collagen & Elastin Remodeling
The second wavelength penetrates deeper, heating the submucosal layers to trigger a powerful collagen and elastin response. This creates structural tightening from within.
- Triggers massive collagen production
- Rebuilds elastin for elasticity
- Tightens vaginal canal walls
- Addresses structural laxity ('looseness')
Why Two Wavelengths Matter
By treating both the surface (moisture, smoothness) and the deep layers (structural collagen) simultaneously, DiVa achieves what single-wavelength lasers cannot: complete tissue renovation from inside out. The surface heals faster because the deep layers are simultaneously strengthened.
What Sciton DiVa Improves
What to Expect
During the Procedure
After applying topical numbing, a small wand is inserted and rotates to deliver precise pulses of laser energy evenly to the vaginal walls. The entire treatment takes approximately 5 minutes. Most women describe feeling slight pressure and warmth — not pain. The dual wavelengths work simultaneously, so there's no need for separate passes.
After Treatment
You can return to work and daily activities immediately — women from River Oaks and Tanglewood are back at their desk or school pickup within the hour. We recommend refraining from sexual intercourse and tampon use for 48 hours to allow the tissue to begin healing. Some women notice light spotting or a watery discharge for 1-2 days — this is normal and indicates the resurfacing process is working.
Results Timeline
Many women notice improved moisture after the first session. Structural tightening and elasticity improvements develop progressively over weeks as new collagen forms. We recommend a series of 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results, with annual maintenance sessions.
