GainsWave®
Clear the Pipes.
Build New Roads.
You run a department in the Energy Corridor, keep up on the Tanglewood golf course, and nobody would guess anything's off — except you're timing a pill an hour before date night and praying the restaurant doesn't run slow. GainsWave uses low-intensity shockwave therapy to break up the micro-plaque clogging your penile blood vessels and trigger the growth of entirely new vessels. It treats the root cause of most ED — restricted blood flow — by rebuilding the vascular infrastructure the way Houston rebuilt its bayous: clearing the blockage first, then widening the channels so everything flows the way it should.
GainsWave is one of five sexual wellness treatments we offer — and a core component of our ED Trifecta™ protocol.

Low-intensity extracorporeal shockwave therapy (Li-ESWT) has been used in cardiology and orthopedics for decades. GainsWave applies this proven science to men's sexual health. Each 20-minute session at our Woodway Drive office fits into a lunch break — men from the Galleria area, Energy Corridor, and Memorial walk in and out without missing a meeting.
Acoustic Waves Applied
A handheld device delivers focused, low-intensity acoustic pulses to targeted areas of penile tissue — completely external, no needles, no incisions.
Plaque Breaks Down
The shockwaves mechanically disrupt micro-plaque that has built up inside blood vessel walls over time, clearing the pathways that blood needs to flow freely.
New Vessels Grow
The controlled micro-trauma triggers angiogenesis — your body's natural process of growing new blood vessels — creating additional pathways for blood to reach erectile tissue.
Function Restores
With clearer, more numerous blood vessels, blood flows more freely into the penis. The result: stronger, more reliable erections without medication dependency.
What to Expect
During Treatment
You'll lie comfortably in one of our private suites on Woodway Drive — no shared waiting area, no chance you'll run into someone from the country club. A water-based gel is applied to the treatment area, and the provider uses a handheld device to deliver acoustic pulses. Most men describe the sensation as a mild tapping or tingling. No anesthesia, no pain. Each session takes about 20 minutes — men from River Oaks and the Galleria area schedule during lunch and are back at their desk before anyone asks.
After Treatment
You can return to all normal activities immediately, including sexual activity. There are no restrictions, no recovery period, and no side effects for the vast majority of patients. Some men experience mild tingling or warmth in the treated area that resolves within hours.
Treatment Schedule
A typical protocol involves 6-12 sessions over 3-6 weeks, with two sessions per week. Your provider will determine the optimal number of sessions based on the severity of your condition and your response to treatment. Many men begin noticing improvement after just 2-3 sessions.
Long-Term Results
Because GainsWave stimulates actual structural changes — new blood vessel growth and plaque reduction — results are long-lasting. Most men maintain significant improvement for 2-3 years. Periodic maintenance sessions (1-2 per year) can help sustain results indefinitely.
