The Contour-100S uses Narrow Light Technology™ — a proprietary 635nm red light wavelength delivered through 585 LEDs with custom lens designs that concentrate photonic energy deep into subcutaneous tissue. This isn't scattered red light therapy. It's precision-focused photobiomodulation that penetrates 8-10mm into the fat layer, triggering a natural cellular process called lipolysis. The light never touches your body — it's positioned inches above you, making it one of the most comfortable and sterile treatments in body contouring.
Targeted Fat Cell Release
When 635nm red light energy reaches adipocytes (fat cells), it stimulates the mitochondria and causes temporary pores to form on the cell membrane. Stored triglycerides — made up of water, glycerol, and free fatty acids — are released through these pores. The fat cells remain intact and functional; they simply deflate. Ovation pairs every MedWave session with a metabolic activation vibration plate — 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after treatment. The pre-treatment vibration increases circulation and stimulates muscle fibers, making fat tissue more receptive to the light energy. Post-treatment vibration stimulates lymphatic drainage to accelerate the processing and elimination of released fatty acids. What MedWave Contour-100S Delivers
What to Expect
Pre-Treatment: Vibration Plate (5 min)
You'll stand on the metabolic activation vibration plate for 5 minutes. This increases circulation, stimulates muscle fibers, and prepares your fat tissue to be more receptive to the light energy. The vibration also activates your lymphatic system for better post-treatment clearance.
During Treatment: NLT Panel (20 min)
You'll recline comfortably on a treatment bed in one of our private Woodway Drive suites — covered parking, discreet entrance, five minutes from the Galleria. The Contour-100S panel is positioned above your body — never touching you. You'll spend approximately 10 minutes on your back, then 10 minutes on your stomach, bathed in warm, relaxing red light. Many clients describe it as one of the most pleasant treatments they've ever experienced. The entire light phase is hands-free and fully automated.
Post-Treatment: Vibration Plate (5 min)
You'll return to the vibration plate for another 5 minutes to stimulate lymphatic drainage and accelerate the elimination of the fatty acids released during treatment. Drinking extra water over the next 24-48 hours supports the flushing process.
Results Timeline
Many clients see measurable inch loss immediately after their first session — we measure at 9 body points before and after each treatment. Results are cumulative: most protocols involve 6-10 sessions spaced 1-2 weeks apart. With a balanced diet and regular exercise, results can be long-lasting as the fat cells remain depleted.
