Treating Sexual Dysfunction
Childbirth and the normal aging process can often lead to physical changes that result in a lower libido, more difficulty becoming aroused, painful intercourse, less frequent and less intense orgasms.
These issues can affect your confidence and make intimacy less enjoyable. Studies show that 70% of women don’t orgasm during intercourse, and 60 percent aren’t satisfied with their sex lives. Many women resist seeking treatment even though options are available to improve these issues, without surgery.
Causes of Sexual Dysfunction
There can be any one or a combination of several factors that can cause sexual dysfunction in women including:
Decreased Hormone levels
Thinning of the vaginal lining
Reduced sex drive
Decreased blood flow to the clitoris
Vaginal Laxity from childbirth or as a result of aging
How We Treat Sexual Dysfunction
diVa® Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Therapy
The hybrid fractional laser used by diVa gently stimulates the creating of new, healthy vaginal tissue. It’s a treatment we often recommend for clients concerned about loose vaginal tissue, dryness, discomfort during intercourse, or urinary incontinence. diVa treatments are minimally invasive and don’t require downtime.
ThermiVa® Vaginal Rejuvenation
ThermiVa uses radiofrequency energy to help tighten the external (labia) and internal (vaginal) areas of your vaginal region. The procedure’s benefits also include reducing vaginal dryness and urinary leakage, in addition to improving a woman’s ability to have an orgasm.
FemiWave uses low-intensity shockwaves, a clinically-proven procedure that treats the root cause and increases blood flow to restore healthy tissue. The procedure is non-invasive and performed on the outer and inner labia. Women can expect results such as increased sensitivity and lubrication, as well as strengthening, tightening and improved appearance. There is zero downtime, drugs or lasers, and the results are long-lasting. Overall, FemiWave helps enhance sexual performance and function.
The O-Shot is a simple procedure that uses the growth factors in Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) to rejuvenate vaginal and clitoral tissue. The O-Shot procedure begins with a simple blood draw. Your blood is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the PRP from the red blood cells. The Platelet Rich Plasma containing growth factors is then injected into an area near the clitoris and into the area of the upper vagina that is most important for the sexual response (the “o-spot”). These areas are numbed with a local anesthetic cream before injection, causing you to experience little or no discomfort during the procedure.
