Splendor X
Laser Hair
Removal
The Splendor X is the only FDA-cleared laser that simultaneously blends two wavelengths — Alexandrite (755nm) and Nd:YAG (1064nm) — in real time, customized to your skin tone and hair type. The result is faster treatment, fewer sessions, and more complete permanent hair reduction than single-wavelength systems. No gel required. No downtime. And treatments that run up to 37% faster than competing devices, thanks to the industry's largest square-beam spot size. Whether you've tried laser before without complete results, or you're starting fresh, the Splendor X is the current gold standard.
Why Two Wavelengths
Beat One
Every laser hair removal system on the market uses either Alexandrite or Nd:YAG. The Splendor X is the only FDA-cleared device that fires both simultaneously — blended in the exact proportion your skin and hair require.
BLEND X® Technology
Standard laser hair removal works on selective photothermolysis — light at a specific wavelength is absorbed by melanin in the hair follicle, converting to heat that disables the follicle's ability to regrow hair. The limitation: a single wavelength is never ideal across the full range of skin tones and hair types.
The Splendor X's BLEND X technology resolves this by delivering both the 755nm Alexandrite wavelength (ideal for lighter skin tones and fine-to-medium hair) and the 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelength (superior for darker skin tones, deeper follicles, and coarser hair) simultaneously in one pulse — adjusted in real time based on your profile.
In practice: each pulse targets both the hair follicle's melanin and the follicle's blood supply simultaneously, leading to more complete reduction, particularly on hair that's been partially treated by other devices. It's also why the Splendor X requires fewer sessions than single-wavelength systems for comparable or better results.

Before, During
& After
Before Your Session
Shave the treatment area 24–48 hours prior to your appointment. Do not wax, thread, or use depilatory creams for 4–6 weeks before — these remove the hair shaft from the follicle, leaving nothing for the laser to target. Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanner for 2–4 weeks before treatment. Arrive with clean skin — no lotions, deodorants, or makeup on the treatment area.
During Treatment
You'll be given protective eyewear to wear throughout. Your provider will calibrate the Splendor X settings — wavelength blend, fluence, and pulse duration — to your specific skin tone and hair characteristics. The handpiece is passed over the treatment area with the Cryo-Air flowing simultaneously. Most clients describe the sensation as brief warmth with a mild snapping feeling.
Treatment times vary by area: the upper lip takes a few minutes; full legs or a back treatment runs 20–45 minutes. The Splendor X's large square spot means large areas are covered significantly faster than most systems.
After Treatment
There's no downtime. You may notice mild redness or small bumps around treated follicles for a few hours — this is a positive clinical response indicating the follicles absorbed the energy. Over the following 1–3 weeks, treated hairs will shed naturally as the follicles release them. This is normal and not new growth.
Apply SPF daily for 2–4 weeks post-treatment and avoid direct sun exposure to the treated area. Do not wax or thread between sessions — shaving only.
Why Houston Clients Choose Laser Now
Houston's climate is year-round warm — pool season starts in April, sleeveless tops are office-appropriate through October, and there's no true off-season for bare legs or arms. That makes laser hair removal more practical here than almost anywhere else in the country. Many clients from the Galleria, River Oaks, Memorial, and Energy Corridor schedule sessions between October and March to complete their series before summer — but with the Splendor X's all-skin-tone clearance, treatment is safe year-round with proper sun protection.
